This interactive, multimedia Radiotelephony (RT) tutor, created by Oxford Aviation Training, is designed to give you tuition in the RT skills you need when flying in accordance with the Visual Flight Rules (VFR) anywhere in the world. All RT procedures and phraseology taught in this CD-ROM are fully compliant with ICAO requirements. The tutor will also help you prepare for the JAR-FCL VFR Communications examination and for the RT Operator's Licence test. The CR-ROM is ideal for both the beginner and for the qualified pilot who wishes to refresh existing skills.

* IFR RT Communications CBT

Details 

This IFR RT tutor is designed to follow on from the international VFR RT tutor. It covers the IFR elements of the JAR Communications syllabus and contains many examples of RT which might be used when flying IFR in both uncontrolled and controlled airspace. The tutor is intended for the pilot who has completed the VFR tutor and now wishes to expand his/her knowledge and skills to IFR situations. A thorough knowledge of VFR RT procedures is therefore essential before starting the lessons on this CD.

* VFR RT Communications UK Airspace Supplement CBT

Details 

The VFR RT UK Airspace Supplement is intended to complement OATmedia's main VFR radiotelephony (RT) tutor. It contains lessons on the differences in UK RT procedures from those of ICAO and is designed for students who do most of their flying in UK airspace. It covers such things as the Lower Airspace Radar Service (LARS), VFR flying in military airspace, the control of aircraft wishing to penetrate danger areas and aspects of the emergency service which are particular to the UK.

Students studying for ATPL, CPL/IR, or PPL/IR outside the United Kingdom will need the bundle of two RT Comms CD-ROMs, illustrated here, consisting of the ICAO/JAA VFR RT Communications disk and the IFR RT Communications disk.
