MSInfo.

MSInfo will give us a very detailed report on your computer system and should give us all the information we are likely to need when giving you technical support.

MSInfo can produce a .nfo file and this is what we need.

To produce the .nfo file:

1) Click START and then RUN (or Windows Key+R).

2) Type 'msinfo32' and click OK. This will open MSInfo.

3) From the drop-down menu, choose 'Save'. Give your file a sensible name (such as your name) and save it to your desktop.

4) The .nfo files are usually around 1.5 MB in size but zip up to only a few kilobytes. If possible use Winzip to compress the file.

5) Attach the compressed file to an email with a description of the problem that you are experiencing.
