Compatibility Mode.

Running the software in Compatibility Mode can solve disk authentication problems, crashes during software start-up, and other random crashes. Compatibility mode is available in Windows XP and, with some tweaking, Windows 2000.

Windows 2000.

Windows XP and Vista.

To run an application in compatibility mode:

1) Right-click on the exe or a shortcut to the exe and choose 'Properties'.

2) Click on the 'Compatibility' tab.

3) Tick the checkbox 'Run this program in compatibility mode for:' and then choose an operating system. We suggest trying 'Windows 98 / Windows ME' first but do try other OS if this is unsuccessful.
